To start, I suppose I should say this. I've only been an owner of a Z for about a year now. I bought my Z from a guy who didn't know shit about cars, and as such, didn't really take care of this car all that well. So, since paying 4k for a 1990 NA Z with 125k, I've dropped more than 3k additional doing basic maintenance that he didn't. Here's the thing, I'm still having problems! I was asked the other day if my plans were to fix my injectors, get it running smoothly, then sell it. My response was "Hell No". The words shot out of my mouth before I could think. I later decided the best option would be to buy another, reliable car, and eventually do a convert NA>TT. So what is it about these cars? Why are some of us willing to take out another mortgage on our homes to pay for modifications(Not me, but I've heard people do it). We Z owners are some of the most illogical, nutty people in the world, so I'm just kinda trying to figure out why. I love my car, and won't get rid of it. But, I can't really understand why not. What makes this car so special?
